SWHS Preschool Program:
The Family and Consumer Science department at SWHS offers a preschool lab for children in the district ages 3-5, who are potty-trained. Teens create developmentally appropriate activities for the children, overseen by a high school teacher. We accept 12 children each school year, with a fall and spring semester. A fee does apply. We run Tuesdays through Thursdays from about 8:45 AM until 10:50 AM and focus on social skills, self-regulation, letter recognition and sounds, math, music and movement, crafts, and games. To complete a pre-registration form, go to the high school web page, choose “menu”, and scroll down to “preschool lab” to access more information and registration. We are full for the 2026-2027 school year, but do have some openings in future years.
Wishing you and your family a great start to 2026!
